| The Farm |  |
The farm is the ministry base of Fields of the Fatherless, and is being prepared to:
- Provide a place where youth coming off of the city streets
can experience
restoration... a place to learn life skills, vocational training, and most importantly be
discipled as followers of Jesus Christ. - Provide food for soup kitchens and other inner city church food outreaches.
- Provide food and assistance to El Hogar, an orphanage
nearby that
takes in abandoned
children and elderly people. - Provide a place for retreat, refreshment, and training for
pastors and leaders who
are ministering to the fatherless.

and several buildings that we are working on

The cost of the property was $320,000. We have paid $300,000 for the
farm and will pay an additional $20,000 in October 2008.
In addition we need to repay $255,000 to a generous
supporter who backed us with funds to purchase the property.
